Juvenile Justice: The law & our youth
Part of CJE’s 2007 Judicial Forum Series
The Center for Judicial Excellence convened a Juvenile Justice Forum at the Tam Valley Community Center on May 10, 2007 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. The goals of the Forum were to educate the Marin community about procedures and challenges within the juvenile justice system as it relates to juvenile delinquency, to discuss best practices and to encourage an ongoing dialogue about safeguards and solutions.
The Juvenile Justice Forum was comprised of a brief presentation and introductory comments by one parent and one youth who have personally experienced the juvenile justice system, 5-minute statements by the Forum panelists and a structured Question & Answer session.
The forum was moderated by Solange Echeverria – KPFA Radio.
Forum panelists included:
