The longtime director of California’s judicial discipline agency, which has come under scrutiny from lawmakers and the public over the past year, has announced she is retiring.
Victoria Henley, director and chief counsel for the Commission on Judicial Performance, will end her 26-year career at the helm of the agency at the end of this year.
The commission reviews complaints and assesses discipline against the state’s 2,000 judges, appeals court justices and judicial officers. [Read Full Article]
