Holding a samurai sword to his daughter’s chest, the father bellowed he would kill her. The baby’s mother, bound and bleeding, begged for their lives.
The African-born man, known in court by the pseudonym of Saldo, suspected his Australian partner of cheating. So he tied her to a chair with duct tape, savagely bashed her, dragged her by the hair and forced her to swallow the SIM card in her mobile phone.
Then he grabbed their baby daughter, pointed a samurai sword at her tiny chest and declared he would kill her as “punishment’’. The mother pleaded with him to stop, then passed out.
