Nan-Hui Jo’s fate is once again in the hands of a Yolo County jury that must decide whether Jo unlawfully abducted her daughter when she took the infant to South Korea back in 2009 against the wishes of the child’s father.
In December, another Yolo County jury was unable to reach a decision on the abduction charge, prompting the District Attorney’s Office to seek a retrial.
The second trial lasted a week in Judge David Rosenberg’s courtroom and the case went to the jury late in the afternoon on Friday. Jurors will resume deliberations on Monday morning.
