A seven-year-old boy has died after being hospitalized with severe burns and signs of having been beaten, according to reports. What did Edgar Ismalej-Gomez do? Connecticut man charged in connection to son’s death

A Connecticut man named Edgar Ismalej-Gomez was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly killing his toddler and burying him in a local park. The victim has been identified as 2-year-old Liam Rivera. Deceased child’s mother feared for their lives & had protective order

Boy Found Dead Under Floorboards Was Drowned for Biting Mom’s Boyfriend

An Arkansas boy found buried under the floor of his home last week was drowned in the toilet by his mother’s boyfriend as “punishment” for biting the man’s finger. CJE’s Mission

CJE is a nonprofit organization based in San Rafael, California. Our mission is to protect child abuse and domestic violence survivors in the U.S. family court system and to foster accountability throughout the judicial branch.

For nearly two decades, the Center has been a voice for vulnerable children and a catalyst for child safety as we work tirelessly to expose the systemic failures in U.S. family courts that are harming countless children. We accomplish this by educating the media, lawmakers, and the public about the need for significant reforms while we spearhead legislation focused on keeping children safe and alive through their parent’s divorce or separation.
