Join Our Journey to a Safe Harbor: Protective Parents At The Beach
The Center for Judicial Excellence is pleased to announce the Journey to a Safe Harbor: Protective Parents at the Beach Awards Reception & Conference.
Fri. October 4th – Sun. October 6th
Annenberg Community Beach House
415 Pacific Coast Highway ~ Santa Monica, CA
The purpose of the weekend is to provide an opportunity for protective parents, domestic violence advocates, legal and mental health professionals, policymakers and anyone who cares about child safety to learn and connect. We aim to come together in a way that will inspire meaningful systemic change. We envision a system that effectively focuses on child safety as the number one priority in child custody litigation cases.
Help us celebrate our Champions for Children’s Justice Award Winners on Friday night at our semi-formal awards reception overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Trauma-Informed Practices: Protecting Child Survivors of Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse in Family Courts.
Our Sun. Oct. 6th Brunch & Mini Beach Retreat offers a casual, unstructured way to connect with protective parents and child advocates from across the U.S. There is no fee to attend, but guests will need to pay for their own meals and tips at the beachside cafe, where we will gather at 10am. After we eat, we will roll out our towels and wade into the Pacific Ocean for a swim, so be sure to bring your swimsuits and towels!
