“California’s Broken Branch” Statewide Judicial Protest

Friday, September 19, 2014 –

“California’s Broken Branch” Statewide Judicial Protest

Sample SCC v-neck womens

This Friday’s rally will kick off a year of action to increase accountability and transparency in California’s judicial branch. Our year of action will focus on legislative advocacy, direct action, generating media coverage and increasing advocate participation at Judicial Council meetings.

“Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Sample SCC Mens T-shirtJoin Attorneys, Court Employees, Litigants & Court Reform Advocates from across the state as we gather outside the California Judicial Council
Headquarters to protest the shocking lack of oversight of the CA Judicial Branch. Californians are being denied lawyers, court reporters, and effective relief from biased judges and corrupt branch officials. Legislators make laws protecting the public that court officials ignore. The Governor and Attorney General claim they lack authority to address complaints about the Judicial Branch. Those who complain about this broken system suffer retaliation. This will not change until change is demanded.

Judicial Wall of Shame: Share your story!

We invite participants to bring personal photos and/or brief stories about their court ordeals to share on a Judicial Branch “Wall of Shame” that we are creating to document the atrocities being committed in California’s “Broken Branch of Government.” If you cannot make it to San Francisco, then please email your submissions for the “Wall of Shame” to info@centerforjudicialexcellence.org.   This is your chance to name the names of the corrupt judges and players who are harming your kids. Send us their photos and we will post them for you if you cannot make it to San Francisco.
